Since 1980, KMA has worked to hold biannual concerts in an effort to preserve Korean classical music and to empower the Korean immigrant community. Even if Korean classical music is less frequently performed, KMA’s high esteem for Korea classical music has made it possible to give a concert every year.

If you share our passion, please don’t hesitate to contribute! There are several different ways you can get involved:

KMA’s Evergreen Choir is looking for new members. Anyone who shares our passion for Korean classical music and wants to contribute to the community is welcome! This is our first year with Hyokyung Byun, currently working on her PhD on Choral Conducting at University of Washington, as the new conductor and we are very excited to welcome her.

The practices are held every Tuesday from 7-9PM at University Prebyterian Church.

If you are interested, you can contact Hyokyung Byun at or (206) 445-2082.

We look forward to hearing from you!
